The program
RAPID Health 1-month Program is introduced since 2019 in cooperation with the MOST Vision Program managed by Narlab. In a one-month program, Taiwanese organizations/companies start their journey at the Jaarbeurs Innovation Mile (JIM), where they’ll be welcomed by the Economic Board Utrecht, the Utrecht Welcoming Center and TGN. After their arrival, a high intense Bootcamp starts, divides into four weeks program as below overview.
RAPID Health 2-week Advanced is introduced since 2020 for the companies with ready for market innovative products/solutions. All international startups and scale-ups are welcome to join.
第一週
Intensive Bootcamp & coaching
In the first week, the startups will participate in various workshops, in which they will learn how to pitch and further develop their business models. In addition, they will learn more about the European market.
第二週
Intensive Bootcamp & coaching
During the second week in Region Utrecht, startups will visit different organizations to see what activities take place in the Healthy Urban Living Domain. Taiwanese participants will get plenty of opportunities to make their first connections with the European partners. In addition, the startups will visit innovative European cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp (Belgium).
第三週
Demo Week
During the demonstration week, participants will pitch and demonstrate their businesses to important health network partners. This will happen during important network events in the Netherlands, also in Germany. An excellent opportunity for the participants to make themselves visible in Europe.
第四週
Deal Making
In the last week, the participating startups will be more familiar with the Utrecht Region and our opportunities. They have pitched and improved their business cases. An excellent moment to make up the balance and make deals with the European partners. This could be the start of the establishment of their businesses in Europe.
Pitch
You will pitch to investors, partners and companies with the tools you have learnt!

Qualifications

Taiwanese startups and scale-ups that expect to meet our criteria can follow the next 4 steps to make a chance on being part of the program;
STEP 1. Apply
Every Taiwanese startup with a focus on the field of Life, Science & Health can apply for the trail program on our website (www.rapid-health.eu).
STEP 2. Questionnaire and jury
Fill in the questionnaire to identify which gap or market potential they want to address. Our jury, consisting of people from the Economic Board Utrecht, TGN, Tiger Accelerator, Startup Taipei and MOST-Vision Program, will do the first selection of potential participants.
STEP 3. Proposition paper
Once selected, the startups / Scale-ups will have to write an proposition paper to elaborate more on how their ideas, propositions or products can fulfill the gap or market potential.
STEP 4. Final selection
A second jury, consisting of the same organisations and institutions, will select 10 (up to 15 startups) to be part of the program.
